It was during the unveiling of the results of the 2022 APEAL research study conducted by J.D. Power that the Palisade and Santa Cruz were named the most attractive vehicles in their segments. The Palisade earned the highest score in the midsize SUV category and the Santa Cruz took first place in the midsize pickup category.
Note that the Ioniq 5 and Sonata took second place in their category, and the Tucson and Accent finished third. It can be said that several vehicles in the range have stood out positively to vehicle owners.

Details of the APPEAL study by J.D. Power
The 2022 U.S. APPEAL study is already in its 27th edition and is based on the opinions of 84,165 vehicle owners of a 2022 model year. Participants must evaluate several characteristics of their vehicle 90 days after purchase or lease such as power, comfort and more. Afterwards, J.D. power takes care of collating the results in order to generate a score out of 1,000 for each vehicle of the year 2022.
